At Bow Lodge Cat Rescue, we are more than just a team—we are a family of passionate animal lovers united by one mission: giving every cat the love, care and second chance they deserve.
Our dedicated volunteers and foster carers work tirelessly, often around the clock, to rescue, nurture and rehabilitate cats and kittens in need. Every member of our team opens their heart and, in many cases, their home to provide a safe, loving environment until each cat finds their forever family.
Together, we celebrate every happy ending, support one another through the challenges, and remain committed to treating every animal with the kindness, compassion and respect they deserve.

Our Story
For over 30 years, Bow Lodge Cat Rescue has been a lifeline for cats and kittens with nowhere else to turn.
Founded by Maria, Bow Lodge began with one simple belief: every cat deserves a chance, regardless of their age, colour, health or past. What started as one person's determination to help animals in need has grown into a compassionate rescue supported by an incredible team of foster carers, volunteers and supporters.
Unlike many rescues, our cats are cared for in loving foster homes rather than kennels or catteries. This allows them to receive individual attention, rehabilitation and the warmth of a family environment while they wait for their forever homes.
Over the years, Bow Lodge has rescued and rehomed thousands of cats and kittens. We have taken in abandoned litters, pregnant mums, neglected and abused cats, elderly cats, those with complex medical needs, and even the occasional dog that desperately needed our help. No matter the situation, our goal is always the same—to provide safety, love and hope.
Every rescue is made possible by the kindness of our supporters. From our dedicated foster carers who open their homes, to our volunteers who give their time, and our donors who help fund vital veterinary care, Bow Lodge is built on a community of people who truly care.
Today, our mission remains exactly as it was over three decades ago:
